Helms-Burton Law: cruelty of inspiration?

By Lázaro David Najarro Pujol / Radio Camagüey

July, 2019.- Cuba is the only country in the world that has faced a law for more than 23 years, such as Helms-Burton, which violates grotesquely and tramples international law with impunity.

That legislation, which aims to govern the destiny and future of the largest of the Antilles, imposed by the United States on the island, is also accompanied by an economic, financial and commercial blockade of some 60 years.

The administrations of the White House have always tried to seize Cuba as if it were its possession, long before the Revolution triumphed on January 1, 1959.

The Doctor of Philosophy and Letters Ricardo Alarcón de Quesada reasoned in Camagüey that the governments of the United States have developed wars of prey in different countries of the world, defeated governments and have ordered to assassinate leaders, but against no other nation they have imposed a law like the Helms -Burton.

From May 2, 2019 the current president of the United States decided to allow citizens of that country to bring legal proceedings in the US courts against any person or foreign entity that “traffic” with properties nationalized by the Cuban Revolution, after January 1st, 1959, stipulated in chapter three of the political monster.

The Helms-Burton is inapplicable in Cuba because the inhabitants of the green archipelago will never allow the imposition of any American law, much less in Camagüey, a region where the concepts of a Revolution that always had the legality and the right were born and developed. fundamental support.

In Camagüey, all constitutions were approved during the war of independence against Spanish colonialism: Guáimaro, Jimaguayú and La Yaya. Likewise, the last meeting of the representatives elected by the Liberation Army was held in Santa Cruz del Sur.

Camagüey, a province with a rich constitutionalist tradition, will be in the vanguard in that fight of the Cuban people to overthrow the Helms-Burton Law, barbarism of the inspiration of those characters who think they own the planet.

For the future and human existence itself, from Cuba we must create awareness and understanding to help the entire world demand Yankee imperialism to stop imagining the owners of the planet, legislating for others and dealing with the ignored problems. legitimate interests of its citizens, reflected in Camagüey, Ricardo Alarcón de Quesada.
