Symposium Challenges in the Management of Cities will arrive in February with its 15th edition

Camagüey, Cuba, Jan 11.- The patrimonial, sustainable, inclusive and resilient city will be the source of debates for the 15th edition of the Symposium Challenges in the Management of Cities that, like every February, come to life in Camagüey.

In line with the current epidemiological situation, the appointment will meet on this occasion in the form of a National Workshop, through online conferences with the different representatives of the Network of Offices of the Historian and Curator of the heritage cities.

The dialogue scheduled for February 1 and 2 foresees urban management for the sustainability of historic centers, habitat and the use of new technologies in the success of sustainable urban development, among other topics.

According to the website of the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey, the cultural institution organizing the event, it will be sponsored, as every year, by the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power in the territory.

In the midst of the days for Culture Week and the 507th anniversary of the princely town, the Fulgencio Arambula Public Alarife Award will be awarded to people and institutions that from architecture contribute to the preservation and safeguarding of heritage in the City of Tinajones.
