Recognized the leading role of the Camagüey press in times of pandemic (+ Photos)

Camagüey, Cuba, Mar 14.- A special recognition to the press workers in Camagüey today transmitted the highest leadership of the territory, for the leading role of the union increasingly alongside the interests of the people, in the truthful and timely reflection of economic and social life.

This was highlighted by Ariel Santana Santiesteban, president of the Provincial Defense Council, who asserted that in the midst of dissimilar efforts, including the confrontation with COVID-19 and the transformations linked to the ordering task, journalists have kept the information consistent with the population and with a critical spirit when appropriate.

Diaz-Canel congratulates Cuban journalists

Havana, Cuba, Mar 14.- Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, president of the Republic of Cuba, congratulated Cuban journalists today in a message stating that “there is no complete work without a chronicler to certify its significance”.

“To the Cuban journalists and the UPEC (@periodistascuba) that groups them in their profession and commitment, our recognition and congratulations on their day. From today, First Virtual Festival of the Cuban Press

Havana, Cuba, Nov. 24.- The First Virtual Festival of the Cuban Press begins today in this capital through videoconferences with all the provinces and media in the country.
