Camagüey, Cuba, Sep 24.- Starting from scratch, leaving the comfort of home behind, leaving the comfort zone and exploring a new reality led the young Camagüey actress Sailin Carbonell to embark on her way to the capital of all Cubans.

“Arriving in Havana leaving everything behind was an act of courage. I gave up my family and my job to face a totally unknown world; I still remember, when I arrived I did not know how the dynamics of life worked, but I approached the Teatro la Proa group and they opened their doors for me”.

September, 2021.- On our way back from the fishing bell in the Gulf of Campestre, we sighted the banks of the city of Havana. The commotion was great that most of the crew of the Tiburon Motopequero went out on deck to observe the beautiful Cuban city with tears of emotions.

The group of students from the Carlos Adán Valdés school in East Havana had fulfilled the mission entrusted to them with honor. We all received special recognition from the Young Communist League (UJC).

Electric Union informs on service disruptions

Havana, Cuba, Sep 20.- The Electricity Union (UNE) reported that during the early hours of this Monday there were damages in the service due to the generation capacity deficit, which, it is predicted, will have a maximum affectation at noon of 250 megawatts (MW).

Availability of electricity generation in Cuba continues to be affected

Havana, Cuba, Sep 10.- The availability of generation to meet the demand for electricity in the country continues to be affected, because the National Electric System has been operating with very low levels of reserve, informed Liván Arronte Cruz, Minister of Energy and Mines.

COVID-19 in Cuba: 6,208 confirmed cases, 492 belong to Camagüey

Havana, Cuba, Sep 2.- At the close of yesterday, September 1, 96,261 patients were admitted, 59,175 suspects, 4,177 under surveillance, and 32,909 confirmed active.

For COVID-19, a total of 57 thousand 137 samples were made for surveillance during the day, resulting in 6 thousand 208 positive. The country accumulates eight million 42 thousand 254 samples carried out and 665 thousand 672 positive.
