Vaccination campaign continues in the Camagüey town of San Serapio

Camagüey, Cuba, Oct 20.- The vaccination campaign against COVID-19 continued in the Camagüey’s town of San Serapio with the application of the second dose of Soberana 02 to the third group of the pediatric population.

Some 130 infants from two to 11 years of age went with their parents to the Isidoro Armentero Muñoz primary school, which has been enabled since July as a vaccination site for the benefit of all the inhabitants of that Camagüey town.

Complex epidemiological situation continues in Camagüey

Camagüey, Cuba, Oct 19.- The epidemiological situation continues to be complex in Camagüey with high levels of contagion in the territory, confirmed Dr. Juan Jesús Llambías Peláez, director of the Provincial Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology.

Currently, the incidence rate is 848 per 100,000 inhabitants, one of the highest in the country, and the death rate associated with COVID-19 is above the national average.

Conditions are ready in Camagüey for the commercialization of interprovincial tickets

Camagüey, Cuba, Oct 19.- The Base Business Unit (UEB) Viajeros Centro-Oeste de Camagüey is in conditions to start the commercialization of tickets for interprovincial transportation once indicated by the country.

This was reported by Reinier Gómez Muñoz, director of the entity, who assured that they have all the technological resources to resume the sale of tickets.

Adolescent beneficiaries of San Serapio with a second dose of Soberana 02

Camagüey, Cuba, Oct 15.- Some 70 adolescents from the San Serapio community, in the municipality of Camagüey, received the second dose of the anti COVID-19 Soberana 02 vaccine, one more step in the immunization process of the pediatric population.

The 12 to 18-year-old group received the immunogen without setbacks thanks to the workers of the medical office of the family number one of the Carlos J. Finlay Polyclinic, the support of the community work group and companies of the Altagracia popular council.
