Food donated by friendly nations will begin to be distributed today in Cuba

Havana, Cuba, Jul 30.- The gradual and free delivery to the Cuban population of food sent by friendly nations will begin today in several municipalities, on a day in which the arrival of new donations of food and medical supplies to face the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact of the North American blockade.

Through La Lisa, in the capital, the distribution of the module consisting mainly of rice, grains, pasta and sugar will begin, which will be received throughout Cuba by the more than 3.8 million households registered in the Consumer Registry Offices , as Betsy Díaz Velázquez, Minister of Internal Trade, announced on Wednesday.

Thousands of people from Camagüey benefited with basic necessities

Camagüey, Cuba, May 21.- Nearly 105 thousand modules with basic necessities have been sold so far in this municipality of Camagüey during the fifth round organized by the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR).

Edilberto Rodríguez Medina, an official of the People’s Power Assembly in the capital of Camagüey, said that this rotation, which began on April 27, is proceeding as planned.
