Guardalavaca: unique seascape opens to international tourism

Holguín, Cuba, Oct 4.- The Cuban province of Holguín, with its Guardalavaca Tourist Center, some 800 kilometers east of Havana, opened its facilities to foreign vacationers with the arrival of the first commercial flight to the eastern region.

It is a flight run by an airline of the Air Transat company, from Toronto, which links the province with that city in Canada, the main source of tourism to the largest of the Antilles.

Secure isolation packages for travelers at the Hotel Santa María (+ Photos)

Camagüey, Cuba, Aug 26.- Faced with the rigor demanded by the current epidemiological context, the Santa María hotel, of the Cuban Chain City in Camagüey, makes safe isolation packages available to travelers with a stay for five days.

Backed by the certification of More Hygienic and Safe Tourism granted by the Ministries of Public Health and Tourism, the entity has received more than a thousand clients to date and has a strict biosafety protocol, which goes from the red zone, to the accompaniment 24 hours of health personnel.

Camagüey, Cuba, Aug 2.- The Provincial Tourism Company of Ciudad Santa María, in keeping with the epidemiological situation, maintains the service of food and light food to take home in some of its units.

Liliana Ollet Herrera, communication and marketing specialist of the entity, said that El bodegón Don Cayetano, on República street, and the restaurant El ovejito, in Plaza del Carmen, are the two establishments whose gastronomic options the client can taste in the home.

E hotels prepare their facilities in Camagüey

Camagüey, Cuba, Jul 28.- With a volunteer work, on Friday July 23, the process of conditioning the Hotel E Camino de Hierro, of the Cubanacan Chain in the city in Camagüey began, with a view to its next reopening.

After the closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the facility will arrive this August 13 for the tenth anniversary, so it is expected to resume the provision of services initially with gastronomic offers to take away.

Tourism applies in Camagüey new measures before the rise of COVID-19
